Iris was born and raised in the Village of Dragons, a small village located near Opelucid City. She grew up with Pokémon, becoming friends with them and always playing. Iris always wanted to be the greatest Dragon Master since she was young. She received an Axew when she was only ten. As she grew stronger, she challenged Alder - the former Champion of Unova. She won the battle and eventually became the Champion. She is unbeatable!

Iris received Axew on her tenth birthday from the matriarch of the Village of Dragons. Afterwards, they set off on an adventure across the Unova region. It later evolved into a Fraxure during a battle with Marshal of the Elite Four. They continued to train from day to day to defeat her grandfather - Drayden, the Opelucid City Gym Leader. During a battle with him, Fraxure reached it's final stage - a Haxorus! It managed to defeat all of Drayden's Pokémon, having finally defeated him!

Iris met Lapras at Dragonspiral Tower. They befriended each other, becoming friends. Iris made a tent and stayed outside the tower for several days with Lapras. Afterwards, Iris had to go back to her hometown, so she captured Lapras and returned home. It is now extremely powerful!

Iris found an lonely Deino at a Pokémon Day Care. It was stuck there for two years and it's owner never returned. Afterwards, the Day Care owner gave Deino to Iris. She took care of it, becoming best friends. Later, it evolved into a Zweilous during a battle with Gym Leader Elesa. As it's power grew, it finally evolved into a Hydreigon later on!

Iris was trapped in Desert Resort when she met a Vibrava. It used Fly to rescue her and escape from the desert. She happily thanked Vibrava. It wanted to be with her, so Iris captured it and became long-life friends. It later evolved into a powerful Flygon during a battle with a Trainer!

Iris visited a Kanto Festival in Undella Town. She met Gym Leader Erika who was sponsoring it. Erika challenged Iris to a battle, and if she won, she would get a prize. As they battled, Iris luckily won and was given a mystery Pokémon Egg. Days and days, she wondered what Pokémon was inside it. One day, the egg hatched and was revealed to be a Charmander; Iris was both happy and surprised! She trained it and became good friends. It later managed to evolve into a Charmeleon, then a Charizard. It is now very powerful!

Iris took a trip to the Hoenn region. She met Professor Birch, the Pokémon Professor of the region. Impressed, the professor decided to give Iris a choice between three Pokémon - a Mudkip, Torchic, or Treecko. She decided to choose the Treecko, traveling back to the Unova region with it. It later evolved into a Grovyle, then a powerful Sceptile!

Whilst in the Kalos region, Iris was in Santalune Forest when she came across a small, cute Torchic. She befriended it and took it with her to Lumiose City. As the days went by, they became good friends. Afterwards, Iris had to leave Kalos and go back to Unova, so she captured Torchic and traveled back to the Village of Dragons. There, she trained, evolving it into a Combusken. Finally, one day, it evolved into a powerful Blaziken - being stronger than ever! Iris gave it a Blazikenite to hold, and it became a SUPER powerful Mega Blaziken! It currently resides at her grandfather's gym.

Iris was given an Eevee from Cynthia, the Champion of Sinnoh, which made Eevee her second Pokémon. Iris became good friends with Eevee, training each day. Later, she challenged her grandfather to a battle, but lost. In despair, Eevee comforted Iris, and she demanded herself that she would become stronger one day. Iris gave Eevee a Thunder Stone, and it evolved into a powerful Jolteon! Currently, it is Iris's only low-leveled Pokémon. She left it at home when she went on a journey.
